Kitchen Essentials

Having a well stocked kitchen with the right essentials is very important no matter who you are. I am sure you been in a situation, when you wanted to make a recipe and realize you do not have the right kitchen equipment to make it. Then you have that agonizing decision to go to the store to get it or hold off making the recipe. I know that I am not the only one that has been in that situation before. So that is why I want to bring to you a list of kitchen essentials for a guide. Now, before you get to the list; I believe you should do an assessment of yourself and your kitchen. So ask these questions?:  What type of food do you always cook?; Do you bake?; How often to you cook in a week?; How many do you cook for?; and How much space you have in your kitchen? These questions will determine what type of kitchen equipment you will need. For example, if you cook for yourself and you usually eat microwavable food, then buying a lot of cookware would be a waste of money. Speaking of kitchen equipment, I believe on some kitchen things, you do not have to buy the expensive ones. An ice cream scooper is something I think you can get at a dollar store and it would be fine. On the other hand, cookware is something, you might want to invest into an good brand because of durability. Heavy stainless steel and anodized aluminum are good types of cookware. Then the popular names for cookware are Calphalon, Cuisinart, Farberware, and LeCreuset.  So now that you have the self assessment and what types of kitchen essentials to buy out of the way, lets get to the good stuff.
